The Bishop of Gloucester has considered the commission’s report anent the Rev. Mr. Hayden’s conduct, and decided to inhibit him from ecclesiastical duties for two years.. The living will be sequestrated, and after making the necessary payment providing for a curate the rest of the income will be paid to- Mr. Hayden, conditional upon his leaving the parish. The bishop said that the charge wa.s not a light one; the language used seemed shocking in a clergyman.
