The Italia rescue committee, in view of the receipt of a supposed 5.0.5., dor cided to send an expedition composed of ice-breakers .and airships to Franz Joseph Land, skirting the north coast of Nova Zembla. It points out that the. Italia’s landing at Franz Joseph, Land 1 would be entirely in 'accord with, the view it has held throughout.
