Scratched; Polyphemus, Cureaform, Ruby Ring, Pane. Won by three lengths, with tern lengths between, second and third. Time, 5.0. JERVOIS HANDICAP Of 400 sovs. One mile. TH E RA C ING J )ESCR [BED. AUCKLAND, June 2. In it'ho Jorvoi.y Handicap (fiivst division), Ainrieiilous won raiher easily from Waltzer with Ti? Waka a node' away third. Speechless was fauirth. In the Green lane Steeplechase, Kamelvamha was first into the straight from Wee 'Marble, Bahadur and 0 ockwork, and won easily by three lengths from Wee Marble, who beat Bahadur by ten lengths. Clookwarth was fourth. In the Jervois Handicap (second division) Billikens and Marble King were the firts to turn for home, attended by Oscar and Miss New Zealand. The latter came through and won easi'y by three lengths from Billikens. Oscar was a neck away and Arildstoa war fourth. In the Cornwall Handicap, Nucleus and Stonm- were the fast into the straight, attended bv Mernattte. Carinax Queen Arch and King Emerald. Qui-eu Arch finished on best and got the decision by three-quarters of a length from King Emerald, Mervette being tb'co lengths away, while Cor on ax was fourth. In the ICnrose Hurdles, when the field turned into the straight. Prime Lou was in front, but in a tight finish Bourn moved up< from fourth place and got the verdict by a neck from Llewellyn. Knwini was fourth. In the Great Northern Hurdles, when half a mile from home Beau Cavalier was well clear of Mister Gamp and Mia Bella, with Maungu some distance away. Mister Gamp fell at the next hurdle, and Beau Cavalier turned for home well ahead of Mia Bella. - and Maunga, with Wedding March 100 yards further back and Royal Form another fifty yards away. Mia Bella challenged in the run to the post but Beau Cavalier stayed on and won by two. and a half lengths. Maunga was third, seven lengths away and Wedding March fourth over 100 yards back. Then came Royal Form another 50 yards further back, Karamu was pulled up along the back. Pouri fell and Vexatious lost her rider.
