FIRST OF SEASON IN HAWERA. TO-MORROW EVENING AT OPERA HOUSE. A very successful and interesting full rehearsal wa® held yesterday in preparation for the concert to-morrow evening in the Opera House. All the items on the programme were played, under the conductors, Messrs Fox and Lester, who. will control various seclions of the programme and a useful time altogether spent by the members. In view of the heavy programme for to-morrow evening, the committee asks patrons to be in their seats by eight o’clock so that a prompt start may be made at that hour. This will help mar terially towards a -successful performance.

The solo artists will he Miss B. Sturrock, violinist; Miss Mary Barnes, vocalist; and Mr Rl. George, zylophonist. Seats may be bolted at Miss Blake’s store at the Opera House.
