MOTORISTS WARNED.

ATTENTION TO REGULATIONS. A warning concerning the advisability on the part of motorists- to pay strict attention to the regulations was conveyed by Sergeant Henry, officcr-in-charge of the Hawera police station, when in conversation, with, a “Hawera Star” reporter to-day he referred to the coming into- operation on Friday, Junel, of the several amendments, and intimated that the regulations would be strictly enforced in their entirety. The new provisions covering reflectors, lights, condition of brakes and warning devices were mentioned by the sergeant as caUin-g for -the careful attention of drivers, but he emphasised that equal care -must -be observed concerning speed, equipment, control, rules of the road and the regulations generally.
