HAWERA LADIES’ CLUB
In spite of a beautiful day and excellent putting greens, the members of the silver division competing in the Coronation Medal match on Saturday last were unable to strike form, and the results were disappointing. There- was no ocompetition for this week, but .on Tuesday next the L.G.U. monthly medal match will be played. Players will choose their own partners. In view of the Men’s Club visiting New Plymouth on Monday next &’s Birthday), the Hawera Ladies’ invited the New Plymouth Ladies’ Club to play a friendly match at “Fairfield” links on that day. The exact number of players required to represent the local club is not yet certain, but members will be notified as soon as passible.
