Of SO sovs. Five furlongs. 1 Solgele (Emerson) 1 2 Grey Finch 2 5 Merdvale 3 Also started: Scrambler, Despot, Star Raid, Gay Crest, Bon Raid, Sarmia, Won by half a length, two lengths between second and third. WHARNCLIFFE, CHANGES. HANDS

Mr J. S. Barrett has purchased the well-known jumper Wharnecliffe from the* Ashburton owner-trainer, Lewis, and the gelding has joined Mr Barrett's other horses at R.iecarton.
