AVIATORS AT OSLO
WILKINS AND EILSON DECORATED.

Oslo triumphantly received Captain Wilkins and Lieut. Eilson on their arrival from Bergen. The president of the Norwegian Geographical Society headed the welcoming delegation, and crowds cheered the aviators while they were en route to the Grand Hotel, where the Royal suite was placed at their disposal. They were l motored to the home of Captain Amundsen, who held a special reception. The American Minister lunched with the airmen.
There was a gala in the city and banqueting in the evening, when Captain Amundsen, president of the new founded Norwegian Aero Club, decorated the airmen with the club’s gold medal, saying that they had covered more unknown territory than any other airmen.
Captain Wilkins and Lieut. Eilson appropriately responded.
