MEREMERE ATHLETIC CLUB.
SPORTS NEXT WEDNESDAY. ENTRIES TILL FRIDAY. The committee controlling the Meremere Sports naturally regretted having to postpone the meeting, but that ivas unavoidable and a. fitting tribute to ihe loss sustained by Mr. G. Wallace, a strong supporter of’ the club. It is xiow notified that- entries will be accepted until Friday evening, May 23, and the. committee hopes to secure even more than previously. The handicappers are revising their decisions in the foot races. It is certain that next Wednesday will see a- great sports meeting at Mr. J. Anderson’s paddock at Oh nilgai.
