A FATAL/ ACCIDENT. : DAR GAVILDLiE, May 23. A serious collision between ft motorcycle and a horse-drawn .waggon took place at. Ruawai last niglit, resulting in the death at Te Ivopuiu hospital of the rider of the motor-cycle,’ Robert Baff, a foreman employed by the Public Works Department. Baff, accompanied by a. maiv in the side-car, Harry Walalee, was proceeding along a road when the collision took place. Baff sustained a compound fracture of a- leg and other terrible injuries. He was conveyed to. the hospital, where he succumbed eatly this morning. r Wallace escaped with a few bruises, while L. Am bury, the driver of the waggon, was not hurt. ... _
