DAWSON FALLS NOTES.

(By “Snowline.”) That Dawson Falls is gaining in popularity as an out-of-season resort was evidenced by the large number ol cars that visited here last Sunday. Although the weather had been spasmodically cheerful during, the week, it was unfortunate for week-enders that Egmoiit was in one of his sullen moods and obstinately refused to uncover. With his usual perversity—just after the sun and the last visitor had taken their departure-—he threw off his cloudy blanket and stood revealed m the glorv of a recent fall of snow. Several parties arrived quite early in the day, with children and hampers all complete, and neither cloudy weather nor soggy' bush tracks damped the spirits qf these determined picnickers, who, ortee they set out on a day s pleasure are not to be daunted by wind ior weather. - ' , A section of the Alpins Club spent part, of Sunday and the whole of then energies clearing what will in near future be the ski-ing track near Stratford plateau. Some very good work was done by the male members ol the party, while the .lady members nobly braved the adverse weather conditions to cheer and encourage the ■working bee. PERSONAL,
