The interim committee appointed to promote a fund for the purpose, of installing wireless at the Public Hospital has issued a circular to various societies, clubs and organisations within the Hawera Hospital Board’s boundaries asking for delegates to be appointed to attend a. public meeting to be held in Hawera next Monday evening. There wore also promised nine head phones. The effort has now been revived and, at the request- of Dr. McGhie, the Mayor of Hawera. presided at a meeting called to consider what steps should he taken and also to appoint trustees for the fund.
