'Gloucestershire 3:30 and 49 for two wickets heat Sussex 173 and 202 (Hammond took six. for 62). The match was won by eight wiekets. Nottinghamshire 333 and 87 for three wickets heat Somerset 159 i and 260 (Staples taking six for 85) by seven wiekets. Playing for Glamorgan against Derbyshire Ryan took six wickets for eight wickets. Glamorgan won.
