Arrangements are now well advanced for the establishment of transAtlantic airship services,” .said Commander Burney, who lias returned from America. “I have, discussed the project with th© United States Government officials, who are exceptionally keen... President Coolidge and Mr. Hoover, with whom I have had interviews, are particularly interested. The Government departments in everyway are assisting, and I hope- to have RIOO ready for experimental flights in August. If successful it will be.necessary to build at least four airships to maintain the regular service. It will be at least 18 months before the first is ready, I am now looking out for a. suitable terminal in England, and. this may possibly be Southampton.
