This is probably a record, both for lateness in the season and for price (says the Times.) About .9.45 last evening an alarm of fire was received from the box at the intersection of Burns Street and Tawhiti Road. The brigade was promptly on the scene, and on arrival could find no trace* of fire. ROSk CHEEKS. Every mother likes to see her children with rosy cheeks and bright eyes, but the kiddies look pale and unhealthy because they have worms. The remedy is Wade's Worm Figs. Pleasant to take, and absolutely reliablo. Safe, simple and inexpensive. Ask for Wade’s Worm Figs. All chemists and , stores.—Advt. 12
