BURGLARS AT AUCKLAND 1 . [by telegraph—press association.] AUCKLAND, Aptrdil 30. Burglars entered tiie premises of the Auckland- Meat Company, Wellington Street, cm Saturday night and forced the safe by means of explosives in the keyhole. They stole about £2B. SAFE REMOVED. TIMARU, April 30. Lash night burglars entered the premises of Cecil Wood, garage proprietor, and removed a safe, carrying it away in a motor ear. It is understood the- safe contained very little money. SEVERE GALE AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, April 30. The heaviest gale experienced in Auckland .since In.St winter, preceded' by a dense fog, broke over the port and city last night -and continued throughout the day. It made the tarry traffic difficult and threatens’ to prove disastrous to small craft.
