Many were killed and injured by the explosion of a secret munitions depot at Trebizond, a Turkish Blade Sea port. A hre followed the explosion and spread rapidly. (UNITED SERVICE.) BUCHAREST, April 20. A curious phenomenon occurred at Con-stanza to-day. The sky darkened and rain appearing to contain mud fell continuously ior three hours. TOKIO, April 2S. A motion of no-confidence in the Minister lor Home Attains, Kisaburo Suzuiii, has been introduced by Minseito, who is backing the minor parties m the Diet. The motion has been suspended for three days. LONDON, April 27. Increasing danger of motor exhaust -umes in London’s congested thoroughfares was illustrated by an extraordinary incident in the Blackwell Road tunnel beneath the Thames to-day. Ten people fainted, 30 were partly overcome and three were taken to hospital lollowing a traffic block in which a long string of motor-cars and buses were pumping exhaust gases into the air. A driver of a motor-bus staggered out of his seat and collapsed on the pavement and occupants oi other ains were successively overcome (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, April 27. , The Secretary for the Dominion has received a telegram from the Secretary ■for External Affairs, Canada, expressing great pleasure at the appointment of Sir William Olarke as High Commissioner in Canada lor His Majesty’s Go. eminent in Great Britain, and adding: “We have every confidence that tlie «tep will prove of marked advantage in facilitating communication and co-operation between His Majesty’s Government in' Great Britain and Canada.”
