TRAGEDY AT GLEBE. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN PRESS Received 10.50 a.m. to-day. SYDNEY, April 28. The woman who was found dead at Glebe was named Clara Dukes. She was a divorced woman, and was 32 years/ of age. The injured man’s name is Charles Bradney, aged 30, a returned soldier, who is remaining reticent. [An earlier message stated that last night the man, whose name was then behoved to be Burns, was. found on the doorstep of his residence at Glebe bleeding from a deep gash in his throat. The woman was found dead in the house with .a wound in the throat.] LIFE IMPRISONMENT IMPOSED. Received 11.40 a.m; to-day. PERTH, April 28. Cabinet has commuted to life imprisonment the sentence on Edward Kelly, aged 52, who was convicted of the murder of Police Sergeant Alexander Mark, who was shot while trying to arrest Kelly in a hotel.
