ANZAC DAY.

SERVICE'S AT R AWER A. Anzae Day services at Rawer a will be'held as last year in the open air at the showgrounds, a large and representative meeting decided yesterday. There were present the Mayor, Mr E. A. Pacev (chairman), Lieut.-Colonel E. P. Cox, Lieut. J. N. Henry, N.Z.IS.C. (Defence Department), Revs. E. E. Emmitt M.C. (Methodist), R. E. Evans (Presbyterian), R L. Fursdon (Baptist), J. R. Young (Churc-h of England), and two representatives of the Salvation Army, Mrs J. Houston (Girl Guides), and Mes'srs F. W. Horner (Boy Scouts), J. B. Laurenson (Scottish Society), M. C. Crightan, S. R. Veitch (Legion of Frontiersmen), Lieut. H. C. A. Fox (Municipal Band), and A. Gfiay (Technical High School). The Rev. Emmitt will give the address at the service, Which will commence at 11 non. At the conclusion, of the service at the showground's the parade will march to the Memorial Arch in Princes Street Where the service ■will conclude and wreaths, will be laid in memory 'of the fallen. Returned soldiers, military and other organised units will assemble at the drill hall at 10.15, moving 'off at 10.30 a.m. Lieut. Col. Cox will officiate as marshal. The Municipal and Pipe Bands will form part of the proce'ssi'on, which is to proceed to the shbAVgrounds via High .Street and Camberwell Road. Tn the event, of weather being unsuitable for an outdoor service the ceremony will ibc (conducted, mlj the Opera House.
