NEW YORK, April 16. Miss Junkers left for Montreal in a sister ship to the Bremen, accompanied by her brother Brhardt, in addition to those previously mentioned. They will a wait word there from Greenly Island. Miss Junkers Laid: “We will carry 100 gallons of benzol for the Bremen. Our principal purpose is to have Fl 3, a sister ship, as close to the Bremen ais possible, so that any part needed can lie sent to Greenly Island. That applies particularly to 'the propeller now being used on F 13, which is the only one wra seem to be able to locate which would serve efficiently on the Bremen.” A despatch from -Seven Island, Quebec, state, s that one of the heaviest snow .storms of the esa-son is still raging over Greenly Island, bht has. not prevented the fliers from attempting to repair the ’plane. It also stated that communication with Greenly Island is becoming more and more difficult, because the terrific storm has affected the telegraph lines running through LabraWhatever stage the repairs to the Bremen liaTO reached, it- is clear ‘that any attempt at present to resume the flight will bo nothing -short of suicide. OTTAWA, April 16A message from Murray Bay, Quebec, states - Schiller- was the pilot who left Greenly Island with Commandant Fitzmaurice in -a' Fairchild ’plane sent by the Canadian Government. They starte;d in adverse weather conditions, out with a forecast that the- weather out at sea would be more favourable. It was planned to proceed either to Farther Point or to Quebec, .the decision dpending on the condition of the weather encountered.
