HOUSE DESTROYED AT PALMERSTON NORTH. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRF.BS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., April 17. A. five-roomed house in Boundary Rd. east, outside the borough boundary was destroyed by fire this morning. The occupants, Mr. and bins Morgon and family were awakened by smoke at five o'clock and barely had time to escape. Little- of value was saved. The outbuildings were saved from destruction by the use of the house supply of water. The insurances were not available. The need for protection against fire loss is obvious.
