The autumn racing concluded at Rand wick in showery weather. The attendance was 45,(XK). The track was in "mod order. Exciting finishes were theT>rder of the day, two races resulting in dead heats. .Limerick won the s Cup hillliantly. He was second, to last- hal.a mile from home. Moving swiftly at the turn he joined issue with the leaders and prevailed by a short head. The champion’s victory was a worthy finale to his notable successes during the meeting. The crowd broke out in a tumult of applause when Limerick was returning to scale. The results are: ROUS HANDICAP. ICO.) sois. Seven iurlongis. (Forst Division.) Royal Tune, 9.1 2 Energigne, 7.7 Proposterer, 10.3 y fifteen started. Kapuya led the Gold to the turn from Quince am; Roval Tunc. The latter took charge ai file distance and gained the verdict by a length. Time, 1.25-1. (Second Division.) Karuma, 7.9 1 Keonui. 10.3 - Boaster, 11.1 3 Twelve started. Singledale was the early pacemaker from Karuma, Malttern, Sir Allen, and Reonui. Karuma took command at the distance and won comfortablv by three lengths. Time, 1.24 3-5. DANGAR HANDICAP. 1000 sovs. One mile and a half. Mountain Prince, 7.10 1 Ri-onscup, 8.13 2 Vallano, 5.4 3 Fifteen started. Drawbridge was in charge out of the straight from Spaghetti, Black Duchess and Dion. Along the back of the course Spaghetti hau charge from Black Duchess, Attractive and Drawbridge. Turning for home ■Spaghetti showed the way to Mountain Prince and Rionscup. Mountain Prince came fast at the distance and won by two lengths. Time, 2.311. SECOND STEEPLECHASE. Of 750 -sovs. About three miles. Eastern Soot, 9.3 1 Gunli-ke, 9.0 2 Gay Gordon, 9.0 3 Six started, Mendit and Price Arim led at the first jump, but passing the stand the first time- Mendit and Prince Arim fell. Along the back of the ourse Goblin also fell. The winner (hereafter was not troubled and won by three-quarters of a furlong, ime, 6.42 j. KING’S CUP. £2OOO added. One mile and a halfLimerick, 9.5 (McCarten) 1 Valparaiso, 7.5 (Ellis) 2 AViu-alot, 8.6 (Toohey) 3 Eight -started. Valparaiso led out of teh straight ahead of Jocelyn, Simeon’s • Fort and AV-i-nalot. Limerick was last along the back of the course, Valparaiso being two lengths clear or Simeon’s Fort, Tangible and AYinalot. .Moving fast, Limerick ran into third position turning for home, and at the distance was on equal terms with Valparaiso and AYinalot. In a desperate struggle Limerick puevadled by -a head. Time, 2.32,L FERNHILL HANDICAP. Of 1000 sovs. Seven furlongs. Yodelist. 7.3 t Balmerino, 8.5 t Star AA’a-rden, 8.6 3 t Dead heat. Seventeen started- Star AVarden he gan smartly from Panola, Jeypore, Finishing fast, Yodelist and Balmerino challenged Star Warden and, running evenly, gained the verdict by a -length. fime[, 1.26. Maggie Mint fell, FINAL HANDICAP. Of 1000 sovs. One mile and a. quarter. Spoa.rer, 9.2 T T.ovebo-x, 7.2 t Boonala. 7.9 .- 3 t Dead heat. Fifteen .started, Boonala, Kitty, Paddington. Justify and Honat led the field to the straight. Lovebox assumed control at the distance from Boonala, Spearer. coining fast, joined J.ovebox and gained the verdict by a length. Time. 2.6. NEWBURY CUP. LONDON, April 14. The Newbury Cup was won by Arnntnere Belle, with Ctetebe second and Orbindon third. Twenty started. 'AVon by three-quarters of a length, with a short head between second and third.
