A tributo was paid by tire chairman of the Hawem County Council at this morning's meeting to the county, clerk (Mr J. W. Harding), when he said the carrying out of the work of the county had been, done extremely well by the clerk, probably the best they had ever had. It may be added that 860 motor .licenses had been issued, no less than 186 in one day, and actually 95 on 31st March, between 9 a.m. and noon, an evidence of one part of the heavy work done by the office.
