MAORI CHAMPIONSHIPS (BY TELEGRAPH —TRESS ASSOCIATION.) HASTINGS, April 14. The Maori tennis championships were concluded this morning. In the combined championship doubles Miss T. D. Newton and D. Potae beat Mrs P. H. Jones and R. Jones, 6—2, 6—l. In the men’s championship singles E. Howell (Araivamata) beat D. Potae (Wanganui), o—4,0 —4, 7 —5, 6 —3.
