The fate of the Bremen is- a mystery early this (Friday) morning. She has not been reported from any source. The weather conditions are. variable, being from fair to- very poor. A storm which is following the coast is expected to reach Newfoundland at the time the ’plane should arrive in that vicinity if successful.

Ships in mid-ocean report strong head winds in the Bremen’s path. A St;- John’s (Newfoundland) message states that at midnight (Atlantic time) there was no word of the fiors fiom the lighthouses or wireless stations along the coast. The weather was elear and visibility good. Flying conditions were excellent.

Mr. Davis, Minister of War, and Mr. Wilbur, Secretary of the Navy, have extended all possible facilities to the Bremen. They have ordered naval and other stations to keep a sharp lookout and act in case of meed.

Mr. Davis, at the request of the German Ambassador, ordered commanders and generals to offer every courtesy if the tiers land in their area. Civic and other receptions have been planned in New York, and an air escort is -waiting at Mitchell Field to greet the ’plane wli-eu sig£lit<Kl.~ PLANE SIGHTeTTaT KINGSPORT. ALSO REPORTED FROM NEWFOUNDLAND. Received 9.55 a.m. to-day. HALIFAX, April 13. A message from Kingsfort states that a plane, believed to be the Bremen, was sighted here at 10.30, Atlantic time, to-day by the captain of a Canadian Government ship. The machine was flying high. Another confirmed the report, and stated that the Bremen passed over Newfoundland at 8.30. ATR MINISTRY WITHOUT NEWS. Received 9.55 a.m. to-dav. LONDON, April 13. The Air Ministry at noon was- still without, news of the Atlantic fliers.
