ALL BLACKS GIVE EXHIBITION
MATCH. (BY TEIjEGBAFH—pbehs association.) WELLINGTON, April 11. The All Blacks were seen to-day in an exhibition match on an ideal ground and in fine weather. Over 5900 spectators attended. M. Brownlie Jed one team and M. Nichoils the other. Brownlie’is team won by 23 points to 21. Tries for the winners were scored by Ro billiard (4), Kilby and Alley, and McGregor kicked a penalty and one goal. For the losers tries were scored by Nichoils, Rush bro-ok, C. Brownlie, and Finlayson. Strang converted three. The crowd saw glimpses of form good enough to suggest that the side has material which should settle down into a formidable combination when conditions and combination have been secured. The play was not brilliant and hard work was not greatly in evidence, hut the forwards showed power. The hacks went, well in flashes.
