“Engineer.”—Easter eggs, easier fires, and many other customs ami superstitions have their origin in the ancient 'heathen feast celebrated by the Saxons in the spring to mark the ‘ ‘ resurrection of nature. ’ ’ This feast has been succeeded, by the Easter festival which commemorates the resurrection of Christ.
