STOLEN TYRES.

PRIVATE GARAGE ENTERED. An impudent theft is reported by Mr. C. Brock, Lower Hunter Road, Eltham. On entering his garage last Wednesday morning he was amazed, to find his car, minus its wheels, resting on blocks. A glance was sufficient to apprise him of the reason for the unexpected condition of the car —three balloon tyres had been stolen, and the thief or thieves, in order to get them, had jacked up the car and removed three well-shod rims. A kit of tools was also discovered to be missing. Air. Brock states that the theft must have been committed between Sunday and Wednesday morning. He estimates his loss at about £4O.
