PUBLIC BAPTISMS.
REVIVAL SCENES AT ALBERT HALL. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, April 7. There were some strange scenes at the Albert Hall when 1000 converts, both men and women, were publicly baptised in a large tank by Pastor Jeffreys, the founder of the Elim Four Square Gospel Alliance of the British Isles. Then thousand spectators were present, and there were many hallelujahs as women in white robes and bathing caps and men in shorts and white shirts were completely immersed and returned to specially heated dressing rooms.—Australian Press Association.
