ELECTRIC POWER CHARGES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —One would think that any person requiring information in connection with the above would naturally look for that information from -those connected with the Board —that is, if the information was really desired —rather than publish unreliable -tittle-tattle picked up
on the street. Now, Sir, both Mr L. A. Taylor and Mr T. Sunderland could have obtained what they required from the proper source, but it would appear that -both are trying to work up an agitation against the Power Board and injure the scheme in the eyes of ratepayers and are prepared to use anything they hear, think, or imagine to that end. I am sure that the ratepayers will consider the proposals when put before them in a thorough manner and do not require any wool pulled over their eyes by any persons who, on their own showing, are incapable of knowing where to get an answer to any reasonable question if put in a proper, open and straightforward manner. —I am, etc.,
