WAGES LOST IN AUSTRALIA. BY CABLE—PBESS A SSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 10.40 a.m. to-day. CANBERRA, Allarch 30. Replying to a statement made by a member of the Labour Party, the lit. Hon. S. M. Bruce said that 436 industrial disputes in Australia last year cost the workmen 1,712,000 working days and £1,666,000 in wages. The total wages lost during the past six years amounted to £7,134,000.
