Team leaves Post Office' at 8 a.m. It is uiiiortunate that Crombie, the Midlands wicket-keeper and opening batsman, is prevented by business pressure from travelling, h orrall lias taken his place. IN NORTH TARANAKI. HIGH SCHOL THE CHAMPIONS. The conclusion of the match between New Plymouth High School (town winners) and Bell Block (the leading team in the country) saw school win’by 111 runs on the first innings: School had made 195 in their first innings for nine wickets (declared), while Bell Block could make only 84. . When stumps were drawn yesterday, school had 120 for eight wickets, and they therefore win on the first innings by 111 runs. .THE TARANAKI FINAL. , The result of the North match decided that School would be the opponents of Midlands (Hawera) in the Taranaki final, and the match will lie played at Now Plymouth, to-morrow. Keen interest is being taken in the result all over the province.
