Heavy and continuous rain has flooded the Barwon and Weir Rivers between Wtall.'angarra and Talhvood, causing extensive damage and drowning many cattle. A Melbourne message states that floods in the Hillside and Calulu district destroyed the entire maize crop valued at £30,000. IN RIVERINA. THREATENED FLOODS AVERTED. Received 11.50 a.m., to-day. MELBOURNE, March 30. Rain has- ceased and the threatened . floods in the Riverina district have lieen averted. v
