A Hungarian company has submitted to the Turkish Government plans to join Europe and Asia by a. two-mile suspension bridge, from Constantinople- to the suburb of Scutari. The bridge would be itn two tiers, with a roadway above a railway. European expresses could continue to Bagdad and Cairo.
The company propose to finance the bridge from toll charges on all sorts of traffic for several years, after which it becomes the property of the. Turkish Government. .The construction would take-from fo-nr to five years.
