BITTER CAMPAIGN EXPECTED. KY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT NEW YORK, March 29. Originally stressing prohibition as the paramount issue in the Presidential campaign, Senator Borah, in a speech broadcast- by radio to-night, _ warned the Republican Partv that neither corruption nor prohibition can -be avoided in the coming campaign. “It looks as if we are going to have a bitter campaign,” he said, ‘in which no man will be safe and' no woman spared who comes within reach of the firiire line. It is proposed in the, cairn paign hv the leaders of both parties to trade principles for votes.” Corruption, and prohibition, lie acylod were nnest,ions closely affecting the constitution . and neither parties nor voters could escape these issues.
