Mr ;M. C. 1 Peebles, of Gisborne has accepted the position of costing officer for the Wellington City Corporation. Ho is -'l7 years of age anil is a<t present chief clerk of the- engineem’ depa.rtment of the Gisborne Harbour Board. He has bad years of costing experience on engineering works in New Zealand and Australia, states a Press Association message from Wellington. PREVENTING HOLIDAY COLDS.
