A London cable message states that Mr. Beale, the British Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, is extensively interviewing metropolitan manufacturers for the purpose of explaining the advantages of the new tariff preferences given by New Zealand, which, in his opinion, are the most favourable outside Britain. He is pointing out the advantages of establishing branch factories in New Zealand, where materials and labour are temptingly favourable to industrial development in co-operation with the agricultural, pastoral and dairying industries. Mr. Seale is proceeding to the provinces and to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Summer salads need SHARLAND’S TABLE VINEGAR for flavour, purity and strength; in bulk or bottle.
