FIRE BRIGADE DISPUTE. <Y CABI.B PBHSS ASSOCIATION—COPY ttIGH l BRISBANE, March 9. All the members of the Fire Brigade struck as a protest against the action of the chief officer in suspending a number of men for refusing duty. Ail the stations throughout the night were manned by skeleton staffs, but luckily theie were no outbreaks of fire. As the -number of men available today is quite inadequate, the inert lta>e returned to work, the Arbitration Court having decided to intervene and hear the dispute.
