Claret Cup.—Put three _ tablespoonfills of castor sugar into a jug, pour on ,t a bottle of claret and a glass of maraschino. Add a few sliced peaches >r any other fresh fruit likecl and some slices of lemon and a piece of ce; lastly, put in two large I Kittles of soda water.

Fruit Punch. —Three cups water, luce cups sugar, eight cloves, lin ■iivuamon stick, five quarts water, uiee 12 lemons, one tablespoonful .•hopped ginger, juice of 12 oranges, me quart grated pineapple. Boil sugar and three cupfuls water for 10 ninutes, and add cloves, cinnamon, finger, and stand until cold; strain, idd fruit juices, pineapple, and vater. Mix well and serve with .•racked fee. Strawberry Punch. —Take and wash 21b of .strawberries and lib of stoned .-berries to a pulp; add to it the drained mice of "three lemons and. a 'quart of cold water, and let it stand :or two hours, stirring it occasionally. Boil together for 15 minutes 21b of loaf sugar and two quarts of water. Skim, and set aside to cool, then strain the iuice from the fruit, add to it the cold .syrup, also a cupful of apricot or peach syrup and more lemon juice if required, turn into a bowl, add crushed ice and a cupful of ivli o 1 e str a wbe rr ies.
