* PEGSPEGTS OF ENGLISHMEN’S VISIT. PERFORMANCES APPROVED. (by telegraph —press association.) WELLINGTON, March 5. Prom a letter read at to-night ’s meeting of the council of the Neiv Zealand Amateur Athletic Association there seems a possibility of Dr. A. E. Porritt, D. G. A. Lowe (British and Olympic half-miler), and Lord Burglilcy (British hurdler) visiting New Zealand perhaps in the summer after the Olympic Games. The following performances registered at the Australian and New Zealand championships last December were stated as having been passed as the best on record for Australia and New Zealand: E. M. Davison (Victoria), high jump, 6ft. 2]in.; New South Wales relay team (J. Martin, W. Hunt, A, Walker, J. Carlton), one mile relay 3min.' 35 3-ssec; E. Keskinen (Auckland), decathlon 64)33.78 points.
