The battle between eminent French and foreign archaelpgists concerning the Glozel finds has taken a sensational turn. The police have seized .six tablets, a mould, two files and other tools found in the farmhouse of Fra din (on whose land the tablets were discovered) and arrested the family who were charging an entrance fee to view the finds. The seizure was the outcome of a formal charge of fraud made by the Soeiete Preveistorique which characterises Glozel as a vast hoax tending to discredit. French scientific work.
