WAVERLEY.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) SITTING OF THE COURT. A special sitting of the Waverley S.M. Court was held at Waverley on Saturday, when Walter Wright was charged before Messrs W. H. James and A. J. Adlam, Justices of the Peace, with being a partner in a quarrel in the Main Street on February 18. The defendant was convicted and ordered to pay a fine of 10s and medical expenses amounting to £5 15s.
