ONLY ONE SUPERIOR

[BY TEBISCHAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 27. “A. grade bands of New Zealand could hold their own in contest with Australian combinations, and judging by the playing at the last Sydney con • test, there is only one band which could compare with the first three Dominion ones,” states Mr ’E. The Australian -hand to which Mi Jackson referred to was the newly formed combination from Hamilton, a small mining town near Newcastle.
