ADMINISTRATION OF TYROL. COMPLAINTS OF ILL-TREATMENT BY ITALIANS. ESI CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION COPI SJOH'i LONDON, Feb. 26. A storm is blowing up between Austria and Italy. A fierce controversy has culminated in a debate in the Austrian Chamber, when the Tyrol member with unanimous approval, indicted in a lengthy address the Italian administration of south Tyrol, in which there are 200,000 Germans. He and others made amazing allega-. lions .or ill-treatment of Herman wo-’ men as well as men, breaking-up of homes and the denial of free speech. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Seipel, said: “It is a state of affairs which weighs on my heart, bub Austria must, rely bn the opinion of the world, for she is powerless.” At Rome the Giornal d’ Italia says Signor Mussolini has decided to recall the Italian Minister from Vienna. Meantime two deputies have presented a question in the Italian Chamber, wherein allusion is made to the “campaign of lies in responsible quarters in Austria.’ A message from Rome stales that Signor Auriti, Italian. Minister in Vienna, has arrived in Rome for the purpose of enabling Signor Mussolini to learn more precisely the attitude of Austria.
