F. Grose, the champion amateur cyclist, is still in hospital at Christchurch as ■ a result of an accident whilst training. It is stated that, “though liis hip has been fractured, he may be able ' to ride within four months. He is now progressing favourably (states a Press Association message from Christchurch). Mr. Nicholls, of the British Foreign Office, who is en route to New Zealand, where he will he attached to the Prime Minister’s department in an informative and consultative capacity, is a passenger on the steamer Ormonde (states a Press Association message from Sydney).
