MEETING OF N.Z. BRANCH

(.bv telegraph press association.; WELLINGTON, Feb. 22. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand branch qf the Empire Press Union, twenty-four members were present. Sir George Fenwick presided. The report mentioned that wireless press cables since the advent of the beam system had been reduced t-o twothirds of the reduced cable rate. New Zealand members of the branch totalled 62, which compared most favourably with other countries. The balance at credit after remitting £llO to the council was £B9. One new member was elected. Sir George Fenwick was reelected chairman and the present committee was also re-elected.
