KAPONGA NOTES.

SCHOOL PICNICS. Splendid weather prevailed for ithe State school children’s annual picnic a! the Opunake beach yesterday. Three large motor lorires and numerous private, cars were required to convey the children (who numbered 120), teaching staff, members of school committee and parents.
