A poisoning tragedy involving two families is reported from Torrens Creek, 50 miles from Hughendon. The two families resided in one house. It is believed the poisoning was caused through the fluid contents of a sheep dip, which were left on top of a tank, getting into the drinking water. Six others have been taken to hospital in a serious condition. The dead are: Thomas White, aged 47. Florence White, aged three. Doris Whindlay, aged nine.
