DOMLNION-WIDE TRIBETES. [BY TELEGRAPH - PRESS ASSOCIATION. | WELLINGTON, Jan. 28. The funeral of the Very Rev. Dean Regnault took place to-day. 'the high esteem in which he was held was reflected in • a large attendance at the Sacred Heart' Basilica and numerous messages of regret received from all Parts of the Dominion. At the Requiem Mass Archbishop O’Shea delivered an impressive address on the life and work of the late Dean. The celebrant of the mass was the Very Hev. Father O’Connell, of Chrxst 7 church, and the deacon was the Ven. Archdeacon Holbrook, of Auckland, representing Bishop Cieary, who was unable to attend through illness. All branches of the clergy throughout the Dominion were represented; also various religious orders. The cortege- was a Y<ery ong ono. Archbishop O Shea conducted the ceremony at the side in the Karori cemetery.
