Arrangements for the transport of the visitors tQ Mount Egmont on the following day have still to be completed, ns more motor transport is required. The visitors will be met on arrival by a strong force of local residents, who will direct the passengers to their hotels. ' Owing to the unexpectedly heavy booking of reservations for the trip, and with a number of last-minute bookings still to come, the necessity has arisen for securing additional accommodation in Hawera. The organisers would be glad to receive offers from private persons willing to accommodate visitors for one night. This will bo paid for. Such offers should be made to Mr L. O.
